Can we get a restart button for life?
I’m sure I’m not the only smartie in the cookie jar (wait….that doesn’t sound right) that feels like they would love to restart their year, or their week, or even their life at times. Life is tough shit. Whether it’s a personal circumstance or a business disaster.
I’ve had a liberal dose of both recently and I thought it was going to break me. You know that moment when you just buckle under the pressure of everything and become your own worst critic.
Well, I became my own worse critic. I beat myself about something that I couldn’t control and somethings I could control but didn’t want to change.
I’ve been in internet marketing for ten years and I still feel I’ve not learnt some valuable lessons… but I’m getting there.
I’m going to consistently make mistakes.
I’m going to fail.
I’m going to wish I could press ‘restart’ on my projects, my weeks, my days….
But I’m not going to let that stop me.
Do you know when you’re destined for greatness ? Well, I believe I am. I love internet marketing. I really, really love it. And I have a complimentary passion (lions, rawr!) that fuels my desire to do well in it.
Ultimately, this is a post, about forgiving your mistakes and for truly embracing who and what you are.
Whether it’s a bad business decision.
Whether you fell for someone even though you knew it would end up poorly…
You can become the best version of yourself. You just need to forgive, love and let go.
I’m writing this post because I know there are a lot of you out there who email me and say you feel lost, or helpless, or confused. So be it. Embrace that feeling and get excited because YOU and ONLY YOU can change your life or where it’s heading.
God doesn’t give us anything we cannot handle.
Isaiah 40:28-31 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God,   the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint,   and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;   they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary;   they shall walk and not faint.
I can’t tell you how much this helped me. Every mistake I make is a step closer to greatness.
So if you feel like giving up or giving in, email me, so I can put an iron rod in YOUR backbone

Johanna, I always enjoy your posts and your zest for life. Even though at 74 years old, I’ve given up on IM, I haven’t given up on life. I enjoy helping others, and unfortunately rarely, they help me by paying me something. I hope I can see some improvement in the HM/HO ratio.
